I'm sorry lately I was so busy that I couldn't write diaries!!

There're a lot of things to do... I don't know the priority... but maybe... I should get the driving license first.

Break time!

I made this, ''STARBUCKS LOGO MUG CAKE'' today. My friend Satoshi also work for STARBUCKS, and his two bosses' birthday party will be held tomorrow.

Three tiered cake is inside the cream. As a part of the handle, I baked a cookie and assembled it between the each layers.

最近は小さい子向けにいっぱいクッキーを作りました！出産祝いが２人、１歳のお誕生日が１人、３歳のお誕生日が１人。偶然みんな女の子でした♪

それでNut2decoさんでBABY用の型を買わせていただきましたー☆　出産祝いのオーダー（？）の一人は今回ママだったので無料で作る代わりにその型を買ってもらっちゃった！笑　Luckey!!!

買ったのは哺乳瓶、ベビー服、ベビーシューズ、ベビーカー。あとはベビーではないけどプレゼント型とタグ型。どっちも大活躍！（写真参照）

写真右端上の宝石型はシカゴのスーパーで２０￠！バッグの取っ手につかってるのはWiltonで買ったジャイアントスプリンクルスのシリーズ。かなりのお気に入りです！日本未発売なんだ；＿；。

次回は原色系にチャレンジ☆

読んで下さってる方がそんなに居るなんて本当にうれしい話です♡

ここを見てmixiでメッセージ下さってお友達になれたり、アルバムにコメント残して下さったり・・・こんな未熟者に、うれし過ぎます。

Wiltonの先生が読んで下さってたのには一番驚いたし嬉しかったです！！

　正式に退学届を出してきたのですが、出す前よりも忙しい日々を送ってます。。　

なんでこんなに忙しいんだろう、あたし？？？　でも、忙しいの好きだから嬉しいです。

私のゴールデンウィークは明日から３日間です☆　

明日はCOSTCOに行くので色々材料を買い溜めしようかな♪

でも忙しい反面、こんなに働いていていいのかって焦っていて・・・。

学校を辞めたのはフリーターになるためではなくて、次の学校に行く為

に受験生になったのだからもっとバイトよりも勉強の比重を重くして行かないと、いつまでたっても前に進めないって思ってしまって。。もちろんCSCやスタバの仕事はいろんな意味で勉強になっているんだけど。。難しいところです。

シカゴから帰ってきてからアイシングクッキーを良く頼んでいもらって作っているのですが・・・私の予定のつめ過ぎでいつも夜中とかに作っているので写真とかにちゃんと撮っておく余裕もなく+＿+。この間Nut2decoさんでタグ型と、出産祝い用を頼まれたのでBABY系の型を購入♡タグ型へビロテです！！！穴開けてリボン通すとかわいー！！！

タグに自分の名前描いてあって、それがクッキーだったらHAPPYですよね♪

それからこのクッキーを頼んでくれた同い年のいとこ！

なんと私が去年誕生日に作ってあげたクッキーのセットをこの前雑誌の取材で載っけてくれてました♡

In Japan, this week are holidays for almost people. It is called Golden Week. So today, I went to Costco and enjoyed shopping.

We'll hold a BBQ party tomorrow in a garden so we got some fresh meats, vegetables, breads and so on.

Last week, I got some cute cookie cutters at Nut2deco.

One of my favorite is the shape of small tag.

I always make a small hole on the dough before baking. After it is baked, I attach thin ribbon. It looks so pretty. Last time I wrote names on them.

I have a cousin whose age is as same as me.  She is a model and this month she introduced my cookies on the magazine!!!

This cookies are created by my cousin who is old as same as me and she has really similar  feelings as me. She gave me this as for my 20th birthday's gift. I was impressed and so happy because I know what a hard work to make so much.

Wilton School Diary #1

無事にかえってきましたー！！　久々の投稿です。

かるーい時差ぼけで、１８時くらいになると眠くなっちゃって。。

でもそうはいってられないです。昨日からバイト始まったんです！

そして明日は渋谷Cold Stone一周年イベントー！！ひゃーあ！！

本当に本当に長いようであっという間で、最高に楽しく濃い２週間でした！！

海外に２週間も居たのは・・・実は人生最長かもしれないです！たぶん物心ついてからは。

去年萌とボストンに行ったのも一週間だったから。

しかも今回は観光目的ではなく学校に毎日通うのが目的。

緊張したけど本当まわりの心優しい人たちのお陰で楽しむ事ができました！

クラスは１２人！本当世界中からいろんな人が来てました！！

ポルトガル人、インド人、韓国人、アイルランド人、ブラジル人、アメリカ人、そして日本人。なんてインターナショナル！！！

でもね、他の人たちみんな旦那さんがアメリカ人でアメリカ住んでたり、留学中だったり、第二母国語だったりして英語ぺらぺら。。。

英語たどたどしいのあたしたち二人だけだったのです！！

だから自己紹介の時はめっちゃ緊張しました！笑　だってミワがすごい落ち着いて自己紹介してるんだもんー・・・！！　だけどなんとか、あたしは日本にこの文化を広めたいってことや留学したいってこと、いつかはお店を出したいこと、Wiltonにこれて本当にうれしいってこと・・・言えた！はず！

とにかくみんなの雰囲気があたたかくて、うちらが頑張って英語喋ってんなっていうのもすごい見守ってくれてる感じで安心しました^–^

先生の名前はDebbieそして助手（？）みたいな感じでTracyという先生が隣のキッチンでアイシング等をいっつも準備してくれています。

私たちの泊まったホテルは学校から３０分くらい離れたコンドミニアム。マリオット系列なんだけど長いからキッチン付きにしてもらいました。しかも毎朝ホテルの人がスクールまで運転していってくれるんです。それで私たちの他にあと３人一緒にバスに乗って行くメンバーが居て。そのうちのLucyというポルトガル人の２７歳の女の人にほんとーーーーによくしてもらいました！本当にかっこよくて、Cuteで、最高な女性です。

授業は朝７時に始まります・・・だから・・・五時起き・・・！！それからシャワー浴びて、６時に朝ご飯、半にはバスに乗り込むっていう毎日でした！

毎日１０時にちょっとブレイクがあってみんなで裏の休憩室に行くんだけど、この時間がまた楽しい！！Tracyがいつもお菓子を作って用意してくれているの。そのカップケーキやブラウニーが最高にアメリカの味で感激でした！！そのときに皆でお店の経営について話したり、自分の国の話の雑談だったり、生きた英語で本当におもしろかったし、そういうのはほとんど理解できたから本当に楽しかった^–^＊

先生の解説も最初は何がなんだか解らなかったけど、日に日に聞く耳が出来てきたのか言ってる事はほぼ理解できるようになったし、ノート取ったりするのもなれてきました。

今回、ノートには絶対日本語使わないって自分で決めてたのでスケッチと英語で頑張ってメモしてきました！

教科書はもらったけどほとんど見なくて、先生の実践をモニターTVや目の前で見るのが主って感じ。教科書に載っていないパターンも教えてくれるし、実際教科書の写真とかの作ってるのもたぶんDebbieとかだから・・・本当に動く教科書で。。角度とか力の入れ具合とかも本当に解りやすかったです。もう本当に神業。

デモンストレーションの後各自練習用の板に絞って２、３回まわって見に来てアドバイスをしてくれます。これは日本のウィルトンと一緒かな！ただ一つ大きく違うのが・・・一つ一つにかけられる時間の長さ！！！やっぱり一日の練習時間が長い分一つ一つを何度も何度もじっくり繰り返せるのがとっても良かったです。

１０日間で１２インチの「バースデーケーキ」と三段の「ウエディングケーキ」を作ります。

バースデーケーキっていうのは一つ一つの絞りの練習の集大成みたいなので、絞りのパターンもある程度決まってるんだけどこれは本当に色々盛り込まれてて、しかも実践的でとっても勉強になったし、いろんな花をつける事が出来て、とっても華やかになりました！

そして実践の最終日、９日目に完成させたのがウェディングケーキ。でも別にウェディングではなくてもいいんです。コンセプトは自由で、色も、パターンも。決まってるのは三段で最大が１２インチ最小が６インチの間で作るということ。

私は、色を見てもらってもわかるようにウェディングではなくてピンク！！大好きな色でいきました。

でも色を変えれば、これでもうウェディングも作れるんだって思うととってもうれしい！！

習ったことを忘れないように、こっちでも続けてもっともっと上手になろう！

Hi, I'm in Tokyo now. I've started my job again. Cold Stone Creamery where I work for has become the 1st year anniversary a couple of days ago. I was so excited. I has started working here as an opening member a year ago. I really respect this company's people and way of thinking. I want to stay with this job as long as I can.

We really enjoyed staying Illinois that 2 weeks. It went by with a lightning speed.

It was the longest staying in foreign country for me. Additionally it was for learning, not but for sight seeing. We were hyper tense for the first time, but thank for a lot of kind people, we could enjoyed so much!

There are 12 students in the master course. Surprisingly, almost all of the students had come from far away.At the same time, there are not only Americans. However, everyone could speak English so naturally. We, 2 Japanese girls, were not good at speaking English, so the time of the introduce myself at the first class was sooooo hard for us. I wish they have recognized what I wanted to say. I was willing to say that I'd like to spread this American confectionery arts' culture, and I want to have my own shop someday.

Our main instructor's name was Debbie and the assistant instructor's name was Tracy. Tracy always prepared something sweet to eat for our short brake at 10 AM. They were so delicious and very American taste for us. I was looking forward to having that short break everyday.

The hotel where we stayed for 2 weeks has a small kitchen. We cooked everyday with a few ingredients.Although it is to be felt strange for some Americans, but American grocery shops are so interesting for us!!!I love there! Not only the grocery shops, every stores are so huge this is a big surprise for Japanese.

Three other classmates were staying at the same hotel. We have gone to the school together every morning by bus... at 6:30 am. The woman who was one of them was so kind for us. Her name is Lucy. She is from Portugal. She has an American husband, and they live in the place where is between NY and Boston. Her husband's name is Matt, surprisingly he had been lived in Hokkaido for 2 years. So he can speak Japanese well and even he has jobs of translating. Lucy is very good at cooking, and she served dinner for us many times. It was so delicious and we really felt happy every time. As Matt know about Japan very well, Lucy also interested in Japan, too, especially Japanese "Anime". She had a lot of knowledge about the Anime far more than me. We talked with about many kind of subjects everyday at anywhere, and it become unforgettable memories.

Back to the issue of the class, hearing and speaking English was so hard for us for the first time like a first day. However, strange to tell, we could hear more comfortably what they were saying as the days went by.

Needless to say, Debbie's decoration techniques are awesome, we were always surprised each times when we saw what she made.We made two big projects for graduation. One is the"Birthday cake" and the other one is the "Wedding cake". The former one is kind of the integration of all of the decoration skills which we learned during this 9 days. The Latter one is not need to be only for wedding. The only one rule is to be the tree tired cakes. We can decide their size, color, theme, the way of decorating, whatever.

Hello!

10 days past since we came to Illinois.

Now, we are staying at Lombard in order to take a class of Decorating Master Class, here at Wilton School!!!

Taking classes was one of my dream since I was a high school student so I'm feeling soooooo

happy now.  I'm here with my best friend, Miwa whom I wrote about before so it is more interesting and more encourage than coming alone. 

We attend the class for 7~10 hours per day. It starts at 7 am so we wake up at 5 every morning.

It's a little bit sleepy at morning, but the class is never boring for us of course.

 All things teacher teaches are so absorbing and they're a lot of differences as we had learned at Japan. Additionally, our class room is in the Wilton shop where stores all of wilton merchandises... there is the HEAVEN. And we, students have a special coupon for 25% off!!

OMG Whatta wonderful days but how should we bring back these stuff?? That's the biggest affair now.

The lest of classes are only for three days... I don't wanna go back to Japan actually.

We're gonna make a big three tired cakes(12,10,6 inches each) for the last creation before graduation.

I should complete the design of that cake from now on.

So I'll up photos after that.

80 decorated cookies!!!

いやー　ハードな数日間でした♪

１２、１３、１４、１５までの３夜は平均睡眠時間が３時間いくかいかないかくらい笑。

それは私の要領が悪いからだけど・・・笑

前日まで毎日バイトを詰め込んでて気力的にぎりぎりまでむりだったんだもん；v；。

でも、でも楽しかった！！！とってもやりがいあった！！！

ホワイトデーのクッキーは全部で合わせて８０枚、アイシングして個別包装して箱につめました♪ちゃっかり名刺も入れさせてもらいました♪♪

どんなのにするか色々迷ったんだけど、mixiでみんなに意見求めてみたりしたら、やっぱ

女の子は何歳になってもかわいいもんが嬉しいことにこした事はないぞっておもって笑。

それでもホワイトデーっていうこの日本にしかないイベントをバレンタインと全く一緒じゃつまんないから、Spring has come!!!って事で、♡モチーフと来週のEasterのテイストをmixして春っぽい感じにしました^–^

１４日のバレンタイン当日は、私たちのCold Stone Creamery #13 team Sibuya のCaptain、Toshiさんの卒業式だったので頼まれてたCakeを作らせてもらいました＾ー＾

が！！！　写真のっけません。笑　あたし、自分でデコレーション納得いかない。。。。

みんなは褒めてくれたけど・・・。中の味に今回こだわって時間かけたり新しいものに挑戦してたらうっかり生クリームの種類を買い間違えたんですね、、それでまず緩くてデコしにくくてスプリンクルスは色が溶け出すし・・・ん″ーーー　納得いかないのでした。

でも良い教訓になりました笑。　味自体はかなり甘さ控えめにしたから完売したし♡♡

生のバナナとペカンをローストして入れたのも好評で嬉しかった♡

ベースはマグノリアベーカリーのレシピのバナナケーキにしたんだけど中のフィリングにホワイトチョコレートクリームチーズバタークリームを使いました・・・彼女のレシピのとおり、このフロスティングを表面に塗ればデコレーションに問題は全くなかったんだろうけど、絶対甘すぎて日本人向けじゃないって思ったから急遽生クリームを買いに走ったら間違ったってわけです。。。反省。

今年はバレンタイン同様、ホワイトデーも完全にあげる立場であげるってことばっか考えてたんだけど予想以上にバレンタインのお返しを頂けて感激♡笑　お菓子やらアクセサリーやら♪

そしてたくさんのメールも同じくらい嬉しかった♪♪

明日からまたバイト三昧だけど、全力でがんばってこよーと思います☆☆　Bye♡
